Dust Storm Warning!

A couple of days ago, my cell phone started squawking.  Government alert about bad weather in our area (first time I'd seen that on a phone).  So I drove over to the club house to view the impending disaster.  Here's what I saw -




 It never did reach us. That's usually what happens to us.

Here's a picture of some virga.  That's more typical.



However, last night we had rain.  Lots of it, and I slept right through it!  Today we discovered this erosion in the park.




As much as I like a good storm, I wish "someone" would have made me get out of bed.
