Baby Quail

We haven't seen many baby quail this year - lot's of couples, though.  Today, Donna went to the shed for laundry and frightened a mother and some babies.  The mother continued on, distraught, without her chicks.  While the chicks were confused, I was able to take a few pictures.  Since the family was in obvious turmoil, we quickly moved indoors to let them regroup.  Here's a blowup of one of the chicks.
