If you like to mess around a little deeper into windows, try this site - http://lifehacker.com/featured-desktop/. It uses several unique programs. I've used Rainmeter and Stardock before, and they have worked well. But, prepare to have an extensive learning experience. Beautiful rewards for a little work.
