Good Christmas

We had a nice, quiet Christmas here in the Park. Attended the pot luck with friends; watched some ball games; moved the TV antenna; got a new mobile phone - Andriod Eris (so played with it quite a bit); ate breakfast at the Farm House Grill today.

Oh, and I've taken a new job in the Sales Office at the Park. I'm selling Park Models. Anybody out there that'd like to move to Arizona? No snow!!

Did You Get a New Computer for Christmas?

As I've said before, Lifehacker.com is a great site for computer and other techie things. One of their latests articles covers starting out with a new computer. Go here for the goodies.

Enjoy

Oh, the computer discussion group has been put on hold for a few weeks - didn't have very many people in attendance. We may have to move that meeting to Fridays - I've a new job in the Sales Office on Monday-Thursday.

Tempe Art Festival

We attended the Tempe Art Festival yesterday. Many very fine artists were displaying their wares. This year we tasted Arizona wines. I'll say they aren't as good as the WA-OR-CA wines, but they might be improving. For the money, I'll stay with what we've been drinking at the Wine Tastings. For everyday wine use, we still like "Kitchen Sink" and "Menage a Trois". We've recently tried "Tormaresca Neprica Puglia" from the boot heel of Italy. It's a blend, similar to the first two mentioned, and contains: Nigroamaro, Primitivo, and Cab Sauv. It's pretty good, too.

See you Tuesday at this month's tasting: Pinot Grigio and Zinfandel

Monday's Discussion Group

This Monday we'll again have a Google Wave demonstration.

Bring your laptop and logon to the internet using our WIFI hot spot. We'll discuss anything related to computers and technology. Might not know the answer, but I'll bet we can find it on the web.
